My favorites of 2017....

2017 was both a challenging and wonderful year for me. I am so very excited for what 2018 has to bring.... I am shooting some beautiful projects, I can't wait to show them to you! I am also starting a new business venture which I will share with you soon...

Most importantly I hope to continue to work hard, create beautiful spaces, be inspired, be present and enjoy the crazy chaos that comes with being a mom of two boys.

I would say my style is part Parisian Chic, part Southern Glam part English Country with a little bohemian mix thrown in!

So many designers inspire me... Amanda Brooks, Cece Barfield Thompson, Jamie Meares. I am in awe of the talent and creativity that is going on in design right now.

I adore how the English effortlessly mix patterns, antiques, collectible and fabrics in such a unique way. Rita Konig, Veere Grenney, Ben Pentreath, Rose Uniacke and Amanda Brooks are some of the design talents whom I greatly admire.

I love timeless Southern design and I feel like it has been revived with a fresh interpretation. Miles Redd, Sara Ruffin Costello and Bailey McCarthy are some of my favorites .

Lastly, I am absolutely in love with the interiors that Anna Spiro produces. Her ability to mix pattern and color is truly incredible.

Top three things every house should have:

1- A round skirted table : perfect for books, tchotchkes, family pictures etc...

2- An oversized mirror: adds tremendous light and depth to a space.

3- An english roll arm sofa: comfy and classic

Starting and maintaining a business is very challenging so I am always trying to read up on women entrepreneurs and how they do it all. I greatly admire Anna Spiro, Jenny Komenda and Baily McCarthy for their honesty about what it takes, their creativity and the fact that they are moms juggling it all!
